Yeah, that's a fucking nice lens alright

It nearly makes you cry dropping 2K on a lens though, huh?

Sadly - not anymore. I've become a whore of detail and clarity. From what I have read - this delivers with a punch to the taint. Besides - when you make good money - you can enjoy spending it on quality goods. Why save?! Haha

Yes, they're black, kind of camera shaped with bits of glass and knobs on them.

I know what you mean. I've spent just shy of $8,000 on lenses in the last few years

The 70-200 f.2.8 will indeed taint-punch your picture quality.

Roughly in order:

It's an 18 megapixel camera, which is quite high for a camera at that price.

It processes images quickly.

The autofocus system can recognise faces.

With the right lens, it can shoot in both very low and very high light situations.

It can record video at full high definition resolution (video takes up a lot of space though, so a high capacity memory card is advisable).

You can use the screen on the back to compose shots instead of the view finder.

With the right lens, the auto-focus system is fast and accurate, and can be set to focus on any one of 9 separate points in the viewfinder.

It can take 3.7 pictures per second.

Using a high ISO setting can introduce noise/graininess in a picture - This camera has a setting that lowers that kind of noise/graininess.

You can plug it straight into your TV to watch vids or view pics, via a HDMI cable.

The screen on the back is 3 inches in size.

It will take any EF or EF-S lens that Canon makes.

It has an inbuilt sensor cleaning system.

I'm unsure what "Auto Lighting Optimizer" and "Auto correction of lens peripheral illumination" means, but it's probably cool.
