I'm writing this on behalf of Demi, who is a friend of mine and who didn't want anyone to be disillusioned or to misunderstand what type of music he will be playing.
Demi doesn't play trance. At all. His music is by far some of the best music I have ever heard in my life. I work for world-renowned club Stereo, and also count many known and feted DJ's/poducers/artists amoung my friends and acquaintances, so I have heard a lot of quality music in my time.
Should you want to learn more about Demi and his music, please feel free to check out his website:

There are also mixes on the site. So please enjoy!!!

chilluminati, touchsamadhi, and psymbolic are putting on another all ages psytrance show february 12th, metatronic. Check chilluminati.org for details. The DJs who tag-teamed the round bar in the early part of the evening at Infected Mushroom, S.O.T. and Derby, will be at metatronic. The VJ for the IM show, psymbolic, will also be supplying visuals for metatronic.
See you there!

Well the night started out really shitty there were alot of popele in line to get into soundbar with tennis shoes and the door keeper was being an asshole about it, luckily no one in my party had a problem. The crowd was part Rave/ part ultra cool(normal sounbar clubbers). They had a stage set up infront of the booth for IM, so the club was even smaller than normal, and was very crowded. They also had these cool light up mushroom/jellyfish things around the club. Demi was on the decks when I arrived and was very good, had tons of energy behind the decks and played some great rolling bass line progressive tunes! Then at about 1 am IM took the stage and blasted into a 150-160 bpm frenzy. Everyone started jumping around like they were on E and I am sure half were. I was into the first couple of tracks but after smelling something very fowl on the dance floor I decide to go check out round bar. It seemed like alot of people left a couple of tracks into it, mostly the soundbar crowd with looks of WTF on their faces!! Now dont get me wrong I am not saying IM sux but I was not feeling them, they should of had a DJ open who does not spin prog house. Maybe a hard trance Dj or something. I just wasnt prepared for the sonic assult IM was delivering. The whole night reminded me of a Rave circa 1998-99, which made it very weird being at soundbar! I do have to say the soundbar staff is very friendly and very cool, I was told at least 3 times upon leaving around 2am or so to have a good night and be safe, unlike Vision where its get the F*#$ out!!

i had a pretty good time at this. demi was very good but it seemed like he didnt get a chance to play for long. i agree that it would have been better to have him open for someone else that plays more of his style like sasha or hernan. but he did a great job at getting the place going. the first couple of track that IM played were alright but it just seemed like every song had the same feel to it and it got boring kind of quick. the people that were there seemed like they were having a good time so maybe its just something that i didnt get. i didnt stick around to hear their dj set. i thought it was a good night and look forward to seeing demi if he comes back.
