Are there certain songs that trigger memories or emotions for you?
For example, everytime you hear a specific tune you recall your first clubbing experience, or it reminds you of someone, maybe makes you want to cry or laugh.
What songs do this to you, and what do you relate them to?
Everytime I hear "Infected Mushroom - Deeply Disturbed" it reminds me of waiting for the bus, or walking to the mall.
OR
Whenever I hear "Chemical Brothers - Sunshine Underground" it reminds me of my first time trying shrooms
How have the songs you have heard in passing relate to events in your life?

jeez, i have so many songs like that, it'd be tough to list them all...
Andy Hunter - Amazing // reminds me of my ex in LA
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster // reminds me of driving to Long Island late at night, and sitting in a Taco Bell parking lot
Hybrid - True To Form (and the whole Morning Sci-Fi CD) // reminds me of my old apartment
Modulation - Spirits (Slusnik Luna Remix) // reminds me of seeing PVD for the first time @ HOB in Chicago
GTR - Mistral // reminds me of NYE 2002
Chicane - No Ordinary Morning // reminds me of talking to a guy i used to be close friends with, while i watched the sun rise from my apartment downtown over the lake
Revolution 9 - Pacific (Prime Mover Mix) // reminds me of driving home to my aunt & uncles house in the middle of the night, trippin my ass off
there's so many more, but those are the ones that stick out in my mind.
Salt Tank - Eugina 2000 (Progressive Summer Mix)
------reminds me of driving in my city in Colorado on a cold but bright December afternoon. Specifically, I'd just bought a whole bunch of really good Christmas presents for my family members, and I was so happy that I could finally share Christmas with people.
ALL of Perfecto Fluoro reminds me of driving to TaeKwonDo on a misty Saturday morning for the early Black belt class. As much as I loved all of the lower-belt students, there was just something special in being with the top people of the school for some good practice sessions.
I used to listen to In Search of Sunrise 3 a lot in my car when I took my dinner break while working at Taco Bell/KFC. It was such a shitty job, but it was easy and it was secure and I never thought that I'd miss working at a fast food restaurant...I guess it was moreso the people who made it fun than actually work itself, but I'm sure any of you who have earned something in your life know what I'm talking about.
Moonstruck - Lunar Outbreak. Obtain this song NOW. I don't care how - you'll probably have to download it since nobody sells Tiesto's Forbidden Paradise series anymore, much less numer 8 (Mystic Swamp). This is a GREAT tune, and reminds me of meditating in my room after a long night of hard TaeKwonDo practice.
Great thread btw.

Yup - the Taco Bell/KFC on Lincoln avenue in Parker.
You don't happen to be that naked guy who came through my drive-thru that one night, do ya?

Ha ha. Negative. I've never been to the one on Lincoln. That's BFE. That's funny. I didn't know you were a Colorado kid. Are you just in school in FL or moved there?

I moved to Florida to go to school. How's that?
I spent all of High School and the latter portion of middle school in Colorado. I'd lived a lot of places before Colorado, but it's still one of my favorite states. All the great memories, I suppose. It's kinda hard letting go of where you went to High School at.
This thread only makes me want to create more memories in Florida, though! Good stuff.
One more...
John B - Mercury Skies (Trance Mix) reminds me of taking a really special girl out to see a movie for the first time. I don't even remember what movie it was, all I remember is her.

So you went to Ponderosa or something like that?
Four Strings - Diving reminds me of a couple of my friends. They love that song and, to this day, ask me if I have it with me everytime I play.

Hahaha - Ponderosa was our rival school, I guess. I went to Chaparral High School.
I remember our senior prank was to switch places with all the senior class of Ponderosa though - my classmates and a lot of kids from Ponderosa (I didn't participate, such things were below me ) all met in a Wal-Mart parking lot, exchanged schedules, then went to each others' schools to pose as one another. Needless to say, the buses were quite busy that day.
