Hello! travelling to australia

I nicked this idea from the toronto boards and thought it might aid people who are thinking or have planned to travel abroad.

Note: this is just a draft and more will be added ect ect, so any ideas or additions its appreciated. Hopefully the other states may add some info aswell so we dont leave any states out.

Transport:
Trams, trains and buses all require a ticket, generally purchased on the transport itself. Or pre-purchased at selected shops like newsagents.

Taxis: which can be hailed from the side of the road and are a distinct yellow so you can not miss them.

Currency
Australia has a decimal system with 100 cents to the dollar (AUD$). Coins have values of 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, and AUD$1 and AUD$2; notes have values of AUD$5, AUD$10, AUD$20, AUD$50 and AUD$100.

For emergencies, ring 000 for fire, police or ambulance.

Nah, the new 'in' thing is to travel & if you see anyone who made a stupid comment to you, you are allowed one shot at them

Ahhh

Brisbane is shit for trance! Once in awhile we get a decent act @ 8 McLachen St, Valley. Club is called The Family. You don't need to know anything else, as other bars and chill out lounges are around there too.

Don't stay in the city coz its all rnb and rap and there is alot of white people pretending to be black and alot of arabs pretending to be italians
