Sasha Digweed and Desyn 2006 VIP Yacht Party!!! [Review + Pics]

OMFG. That was the best party I have EVER been to and best $100 ive ever spent. Complete ownage. I dont even know where to begin in writing a review for this.
The djs killed it. No filler tracks, everyone was going nuts for every track.
The yacht was nuts. 4 stories, beautifull balconies, like 6 bars, cocktail waitresses walking around with free food, and FREE FUCKING DRINKS !!!!! Free vodka and redbulls, and $1 vodka and orange juice/grapefruit juice/sprite/etc. I got so freakin wasted, I passed out in the car ride back home.
Sasha was hanging out in the bar while desyn was playing, that was cool as hell. Garth was hanging out with desyn while sasha was on, and got desyn to put all of our names on the vip list for nocturnal.
As for ids, desyn played a bunch of stuff from his budapest set. My phone was completely dead, so I couldnt write down any of the ids, and i was wasted, so I cant really remember a single track... if I think of any, ill post em.. heh

Nice deal on the free drinks. I now laugh even harder at the people who bitched about the cost of this event when it was announced because it was too expensive and how only rich kids could afford it. Those complaining probably spent more than $100 going to a party that wasn't as good between cover and drinks. I know when I was there last year, I did a few times.

Glad to hear you guys had a blast. Any recollection of how Digweed was. BTW, he needs a haircut, like really badly.

They sent out an email on Sasha's list announcing the party and providing a link to buy tix a week or two before WMC. I assume Desyn and Digweed's website's did the same for their subscribers.

MR stroke: The cruise left at like 4:30 and didnt get back till like 10. . They originally said 3 hours, but, i guess we got lucky
It was an afternoon/evening cruise, not an all night thing. The pics are out of order..
There were EXACTLY the right amount of people there. Enough room to dance and jump around, but the boat WAS filled with people. 350 was the perfect number. The whole thing was pretty well organized. Only had to stand in line for like 5 min. The only hitch was that the website said it departs a 3, and boarding starts at 2:30. So we got there at 2:30 and no one is there but some crew people who tell us it leaves at 4:30. Turned out to be a good thing though, cause we were able to get something to eat at bayside.

Groundhog boy: so true. It was well worth it. Yes, digweed does need a haircut. Digweed's set was MUCH better than his pawn shop set. I thought pawn shop was meh, he never really got everyone into it. On the yacht, everyone was going nuts the entire time.

RJT: It was great hanging out with all you guys! Awesome balcony!

Oh, another thing. Sasha was wearing a nametag that said "Alexander Coe", and digweed was wearing one that said "not sasha" !!

You can see them in the 2nd pic. Later on digweed had them both on.
