2X Pioneer CDJ 200, or Denon DN-S1000 approx $350 - $399 each
Numark DXM-06, Stanton M303, Denon DN-X100, Vestax VMC-004, used Pioneer DJM 300 or Vestax PCV-275...approx $199 - $299

that's about the cheapest your going to get, around $1,000. Sure you can get one of those all in one deals from Numark (CDMix) or starter packs from Gemini, but those are REALLY cheap and not worth your money.

So Gemini is that bad?
What about their 2 channels mixer?
And I liked the Pioneer CDJ 100 and that 2 channels mixer of Pioneer.
How much do they cost in total?

Thanks,
Omer

Another thread that has been covered numerous amounts of time. Use the search people, it's really not that hard.

2x Pioneer cdj 200's
1x Numark DXM 06

if you're spinning cds.

Fuck all if I know about vinyl.

Yeah Gemini is known as a company that makes cheap DJ equipment, like American DJ/American Audio. Numark and Stanton are a little better, but Pioneer and Denon are known as the best companies for CDJs. No, if your going to get a 2 channel mixer, look at the Denon one I mentioned, or possibly a Numark or Stanton 2 Channel, that isn't under $100...those are old cheap things that wont last. They don't make Pioneer CDJ 100s anymore, but you can find them used, probably for around $150 - $200 each.

I'de save up another $150 - $200 though..and get a CDJ 200, because the device is so much better and more precise. You only have 0.1 pitch resolution on a CDJ 100, and that is quite inaccurate. Your better off with a player with .05 or .02 pitch resolution. The trick is to save money by get equipment that will last you (if you do enjoy it) and have better re-sale value if you decide it's not for you. You wont get much if you sell a CDJ 100...they have depreciated quite a bit.

Yeah Behringer is up there with Gemini making crap mixers...and DJ equipment period. Probably the best thing they do have our those Truth monitors that a lot of people seem to like....but they can't beat KRK's monitors IMO.

It's been out for years now so it's not the newest technology. It IS seen a lot still in club setups though. The DJM 400 (2 ch) and DJM 800 (4 ch) are the new kids on the block.

And for a starter set up, the DJM 600 isn't neccessary unless your planning to add two more CDJs or two TTs. And most people nowadays are starting out on CDJs, because you can find mostly the same tracks digitally as you can on vinyl...and some exclusively digital, including some out of print releases.
