It's actually a project started in 2004, but I got lazy and couldn't finish it back then I guess it's pretty much finished now, just let me know what you like and what you don't like about it

Genre: Anthem Trance
Used: Cubase SX/Acid PRO4
Length: 6:17
Date Recorded: 04-03-2005

*PLAY
*DOWNLOAD (right click + save as)

And yeah, yeah... I WILL finish other projects I submitted soon enough because it's time for that album now, I think

That's the problem with keyboards... They often have a strange EQ setting which is not easy to compensate in wavelab Maybe I a can add an equalizer with the windows volume control, see if that works I sometimes get tired of those midi-settings and just switch over to a softsynth. But keyboards WILL always have a warmer sound, and that's why I keep using them on a much more regular basis

Thanks for the replies, I'll see if I can do something with that EQ-setting indeed!

hm...I like this one, I can see this being a good one to remix. But yes, it does sound a little old, and it could still use some work, but as it is now? I'd say it's definitly worth listening and dancing to so thats all that I think maters , good stuff mate, peace!

Thanks

I assume that the only thing left to do, is to adjust that EQ on the HI-shelf from the reverb and make that bass less deeper

I know, I hold a different view on how a melody should be. But the reason why the melodies are so different, is that I almost ALWAYS think/play them out before I even start with the project

Hey man, first of all..your song is not a bit but verry noisy, your sound/noise ratio is very small. I don't think it sounds old, what means old in music?? I think dj_palm wanted to say that your track is a bit dated. The melody is sweet, sounds are ok. I don't speak about the mix because it's about my personal taste. Overall nice song.

I think the melody is dated too.. BUT I simply love the style from back then! you could get the crowd back to a 2000 feeling with this one.. "where's my cygnus X compilation " you did good by starting this project again! i like the synth wich fades in @ 4:05
good work!

i ment the dynamic range representation is very restricted. The noise is too present in comparision with the sounds/instruments of the track. I think a good noise to signal ratio would be >70 dB. Yours is much smaller. If you do not set the levels corectly on your synthesizer(S), you will record the sound with much noise. The noise is good as it is in righ tplace . But if it is present hole track, that's not good IMO.

I found the thing that caused the noise There's a small bug in the MIDI cable, I made it go away by removing one of the cables BEFORE recording a master version. I always did that (I think) , but I simply forgot about it through all the years of producing

I will master this one properly soon, before releasing my 2nd album "No Problems", fo sho

Outdated alright, but synth work sounds ok nonetheless. You'll need to work in your kick drum, is to deep, I mean, it will rumble a lot in big speakers.

Anyways.... keep working on it.

Pretty good. I can't say much more than what everyone else has said, though.
