Heres my detailed review:
All I have to say is what an incredible night!
It began with Edgar throwing it down nasty (not surprising) that had everyone going crazy. We did arrive early due to everyone's complaints of Tiesto, but got into the main room immediately (about 9:40).I never mind getting there early anyways, Always love listening to Edgar tear up the place! We all sat in our box and surprisingly the club never really was so packed all night long. I have seen it MUCH worse during regular nights PVD is at Space. I was able to walk around, dance, and walk to the bathroom without having to fight off a crowd. The night was perfect and even better bc we had such an awesome group of friends with us.
All of a sudden Edgar spins some SICK ASS track (have no idea the name) and then like 2-3 songs later PVD comes on.
OMG!!!! His whole entire 4 hour set was absolutely amazing! Nothing more than high energy, driving, intense trance. He had not been playing too well the last couple of times I had seen him, but last night, he SERIOUSLY impressed me and redeemed himself. He had the whole club going nuts, including all of us! We left a little after Ferry went on, so I have no review about him.
Shot out to our group of friends in the box: beachbunny, manny(the security guard), relik, karen, natalia, her friend, and mister ben.
Like I said earlier, surprisingly Space was not a mission, (at least if you arrived early, got there at 9 and there was a line to get the will call tickets but it moved pretty quickly. Also a line to get in, but that moved really quickly too.)Never had to wait in the side room, and went into the main room immediately. The club was perfect packed to me, I guess I was expecting a lot worse after the Tiesto reviews.
And thats all...Doug will post pics later...

heres my review, and it may be polarizing in comparison to the previous reviews.. EDGAR, as always, threw it down, hi energy tracks, well placed and selected, he did fuck up one mix tho, it was pretty bad , but overall a great set. pvd came on and the first half hour i enjoyed it, but in typical pvd fashion it got very monotonous, and the tracks were very bass heavy. i soon left the mainroom to go up to the terrace were, stef(?)vrolek was throwing down some ill house. we later went back to the mainroom to catch ferrys set. i dont know were to start. if you love hi energy TRANCE, this set was for you. the energy was unbridled. the tracks were fresh and mesmorizing. IT WAS THE BEST F$*KING SET I HAVE HEARD BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many other ta's will atest to that, and some of them didnt even see all 6hours. yes i know it sounds blasphemous, but it was far better than any tiesto set , ferry was just on some godlike level all nite. almost everything he did was pure mynt, perfection. it was a masterpiece, a set of a lifetime. it was so intimate too. all nite he was making gestures and contact with the crowd, feeding off us, and us feeding off him. honestly i dont think i will ever see a better set than that, it was THAT BRILLIANT. i feel truly sorry for everyone who did not get to partake in this set, it was so special. im sure, rounder19, rachucf, drdave, SUZY SOLAR, vtec, will have some great reviews and info i may have left out. if you read this ferry, thank you for such a incredible nite, that set earned my vote for #1

Ferry afterhours is an amazing experience to begin with.... but as I told DA last night in an IM:
When it comes to track selection, a consistent sound, and cohesiveness, Ferry Corsten is absolutely the best DJ in the world. He is constantly thinking 5 tracks ahead, watching the energy of the crowd, hitting them with airy stuff and then pummeling them with something like Ronald van Gelderen - Cold Storage. Watching him mix and experiencing his sets, and their consistency, is so beyond what other DJs are doing it is incredible. If Ferry had the marketing machine of Tiesto, it would not even be a contest for number 1.
