Known to the NYTAs as Fraggle Rock, we got nothin' but for this multi-roomed venue with a KILLER sound system that rivals with the best of them. Biggest Pros: Fraggle Rock room with fuzzy purple rabbit holes to burrow around in; most down to earth crowd; consistently good lineups thanks to many NYTAs promoters! Cons: They like to keep this venue so underground that sometimes the crowd is a bit scarce despite amazing music. :/

It's a main tourist attraction - just a big meat market. However, sometimes they do bring in people like Cosmic Gate and Johan Gielen, so depending on your taste and who you go with (preferably a big burly man), you might want to check it out. Be prepared to get groped by men and to see girls wearing dental floss for shirts.

Other Stuff: Tips! [[New Section!!]]
www.sitebits.com/nyc/advice.html
- Houston is pronounced "HOUSE-ten" unlike the city in Texas, which is pronounced "HYOO-sten". (fuk, we do our best to be least like those red states, don't we?! haha jk)
- Don't be a fool and walk in Central Park alone at night. Actually, don't even do it with 1 other person at night.
- Don't be a fool.
- Only ride in YELLOW CABS. Black cabs = Gypsy Cabs = Run for your vacation dollars!
- People WILL ask you for money. Some will look homeless, some will not. It's your call if you want to give but please, if you have to take out your entire wallet, DON'T do it. Transit Authority Police advise not to give change to bums but to charities. It's your choice.
- Needless to say, don't pool your money all in one wallet. Put some in ya sock! I keep 2 wallets, both compact in size- for those potential "gimme yo wallet!" scenarios.
- You can carry mace/pepper spray legally here.
- Do yourself a favor and don't wear birkenstocks with socks on
