Entropy VIII - 01/06/2012, with Insert Name & Mark Iliffe @ Wagon & Horses, Birmingham
Entropy returns to the Wagon & Horses Courtyard on Friday 01/06/2012 to kick off the summer bank holiday with a bang. This is one of our biggest line ups to date, headlined by some of the rising stars of the underground trance and progressive scene
First up, brothers and production partners Stu & Adam McNally formed "Insert Name" back in May 2010, and their unique take on progressive house and trance quickly caught the eye of world pioneering DJ, John 00 Fleming. They were immediately signed to his prestigious ‘JOOF Recordings’ record label, where they have released 3 phenomenal EPs, and remixed artists such as E-Clip. They have received support from the likes of Christopher Lawrence and John 00 Fleming, and were named the label’s ‘one to watch’ for the future. This is a rare opportunity for you to see these genuinely talented artists take control of the turntables and deliver a sublime clubbing experience.
Making his return to Entropy is Mark Iliffe, who supported The Digital Blonde at our spectacular event last year. Also signed to ‘JOOF Recordings’, he has a string of productions under his belt, including ‘Day Break’, an epic collaboration with the The Digital Blonde. Mark is also a proven talent behind the decks – he has been named the resident of ‘JOOF Editions’, where he has warmed up the ‘Red Room’ at Passion for dance music legends such as Airwave and Dave Seaman. Check out his set from ‘Entropy V’ on the link below, to see exactly why we have asked him back!

Our third guest is now a familiar face at Entropy – the techno whiz kid DieselDave, who has rocked the Wagon & Horses to its foundations on two separate occasions before. Expect the finest techno music that the genre has to offer, and some outlandish three-deck trickery to boot.
Last but by no means least are Entropy residents Matt and Jon Cockle. Matt will ensure the night gets off to a flying start with his signature blend of techy and uplifting house music, and Jon will ramp up the energy towards the end of the night with some full power atmospheric trance.
