Blue Stone - Breathe

Great CD called "Breathe" I bought a few weeks ago from a music project called Blue Stone from Flordia. A mixture of Delerium and Enigma type music, very ethereal and melodic, a few vocal tracks like "Breathe", "Falling", "Only One", "Lost" and "I Am", with some great instrumentals like "Break Of Dawn" (My personal favorite), "Searching", "The River", "Holy Ground", "Contact" and pretty much every other track, which is an instrumental or with some minimal voices in the background. Good CD to chill to, especially if your a fan of Delerium and Enigma. Some say this could be a rip off of them, but other than the vocal tunes which are very reminiscent of Delerium's, the instrumentals are a little different and aren't too dark or overly sensuous. I'de describe the music as being somewhat new agey, but nothing too happy or overly uplifting. Light sounding synths mixed in with pianos and light percussion with some angelic and whispery voices and vocals is the best way to describe it...definitely worth checking out.

real warm sounding .... sounds... coming from blue stone. I thought it could make a good remix, with something perhaps a bit more upbeat. Reminds me a bit of something that would come off of a Schiller CD. Good chill.

Music Aside, the website needs work.

Yeah it's nice music, good music to relax to and dream to. "Breathe" would make a good remix, like a tribal-progressive remix or perhaps a melodic trance mix with the vocals. It's somewhat like Schiller, but Schiller's stuff tends to be a bit more on the dance side, a heavier beat, more percussive. This project focuses more on melodies and harmonies rather than percussion with melody and some harmony...I would compare this stuff more to Delerium or Balligomingo (which was basically a Delerium rip off but still good).

Thanks for responding though, I didn't think anyone would

Yeah that was only 6 months ago. I had no idea about this CD until I stumbled upon it at Borders. Hadn't seen it before...
