Premise: Four producers each make a record out of five old vinyls bought for five dollars in a thrift store. Really interesting viewing for anyone interested in sampling, the creative process of making a collage record, or for anyone who loves spending hours thumbing through old records in the hope of finding some gold. I know I can relate.
(And don't ask me to explain that line of code. Blame Pitchfork's shitty embedding.)
If you enjoy any of these sets and want to hear me live, I'll be playing a 2 hour progressive trance set at Basing House in Shoreditch, London on 11th October.
I'm also a resident at our bi-monthly party Kibosh in Manchester: https://www.instagram.com/kibosh.mcr/

Heh, this guy at work actually did the editing for this flick. He lent me his master copy and afterwords I went to the Out Of The Closet stores they dropped the records back off at to find them, but to no avail
J. Rocc and Daedalus (?) blew my mind on this, amazing stuff.

Awesome! Lol at Ras G's super ghetto setup in the shed.
Yeah, I was mainly laughing at at least two of them finding a pile of her tracks in different stores. Right after the first guy counts 15, the other one is making a huge pile of his own. =p

I thought his setup was awesome!
Anyways, thanks for the share. It was a good watch. J. Rocc's song was the one I was most worried about when they first started out, but it was probably my favourite at the end.
While I'm not very familiar with this scene, I could totally relate to the record bin digging. I always try to get out to at least one record store when I'm out of town. It's an expensive hobby for me, but boy is it ever a lot of fun. =)

Here are what I could find of the songs on youtube:
Lovely stuff. Liking that Stones Throw T-shirt, and does anyone happen to know the name of that painting with the woman at around 03:27? Or the artist?
