We pretty much have all the brainpower we need to start a promo agency.

Pan-Pot's sound has evolved so much throughout the yrs, however, they always seem to bang to whatever it is they put out. And, yes, I've enjoyed them the most during their minimal days.

The day that Format B comes, is the day I die a happy camper. I've also been wanting to see GummiHz for the longest.

Dave Clarke was sick. Party was a little empty though, and not sure how much he was into it because of that, but he played a crazy set anyway. Real journey, banging techno, acid techno, hard electro all there.

Caught Perc too. Really good. He was playing a little slow on the BPM but the tracks were memorizing. Sound seemed a little off @ Underground though. I think the front speakers weren't on / working.

I knew that venue was a mistake

It got shut down an hour earlier than when it was supposed to end so it wasn't that bad as people make it seem... come one people, it was sunday night in a wealthy area, of course it was bound to happen.

Heard pretty good comments about the Pig & Dan party though.

The live stream looked pretty dope. Insane view and crazy sunset. They played way more housey, but not slow or classic house at least. It was good for the time slot and I enjoyed it in my apartment, but I'm more of a fan of their tech house work. Deliverence, Red Asian Bag remix etc.

It prob wasn't much that it ended an hr earlier but considering that many previous events, held in the same exact space, has gone as late as 3am..no explanation there, cops were just being dicks! They even gave Lee a summons, srsly? lol

It was a bummer bc I felt like I really needed that last hr to get to where I was being led to...(wherever that was)..it was just feeling good. I didn't stick around for long bc I figured, since I had the intentions of making the last hr of P&D, I now had an extra hr if I rushed...

HOLY SHIT, they fucked me in every hole possible, no homo!! Upon approaching the hotel, we knew it was going to be promising. The spectacular view you sunk into once the elevator doors opened, was quite overwhelming combined with the insane sound Dan was up to at that moment- STRAIGHT BANGERS FROM THAT POINT ON! Than before we knew it, the sound cuts off (an hr early...again? fuck)..but nobody wanted to leave and held stationed for about 10mins or so instilled with the eagerness to fill the crevice within our souls of wanting more..long and behold, before we least expected it, Igor gets on and began his massacre- utter satisfaction! Forced myself to leave around 1ish bc I had to be up in a couple of hrs for work, however, it was still going...

lest us remember the following things:

A)the absurd line to get in which wasn't prevalent at Circo Loco
B)Lee only had the back-half (non-tent) sand area with his own setup and sub-par sound
C)the amount of security walking around inside the party was clearly a business decision by Beekman.

To explain more about C:
I witness security walking around looking to kick people out (basically extort them) because for all bodies they get to remove from the party was additional bodies added to the door price entrance so it's either them (security) getting paid or beekman/ADID getting paid.

I also witness d-bags at the bar stiffing the bar tenders on drinks. It's not the bar tenders fault at all, but the setup that allowed for it. Some guy ordered like 6 drinks in the big plastic beer cups which looked like oj/vodka/splash cran he insisted it be in the larger cups. After she finished making the drinks, she handed 2 cups at once he grabbed them turned around and handed them off. then she pushed 2 more up and then 2 more right behind them. as she pushed the last 2 up she turned around the key it to the register which was quick she didn't stand there staring at the machine, within split 12 seconds or so he had handed off the middle 2, then grabbed the last 2 and ducked out. She jumped over the bar looking for him and couldn't find him basically stalling out one whole fucking end of the bar.

I stood there for a solid 25mins trying to get a drink. She came back and said EVERYONE NEEDS TO BACK THE FUCK UP AND WAIT NOW. Few mins go by of her just staring at us, she looked at me and said what do you want I ordered 2 magic hats and gave her a twenty and said I'm sorry.

This party (ADID) is over, it's a time out magazine piece in a tourist trap venue. I'm positive Lee has heard from his community about the challenges, the positives and negatives. I'm certain the monetary gain from this event is what will propel his party into a USA tour as that was what their goal is.

At the end of the day, I think we are all starting to realize a few things:
A)lack of outdoor underground venue that can hold a capacity large enough for mass appeal without having corporations like Pacha NY involved.
B)Time Out Magazine editorials and interviews are the first indicator to a shit-show of a party.

Wow, that's really grimy.
