Holy shit, it's getting nuts up in here.
I need to make another calendar in iCal just for techno now
If the techno gods are still answering prayers, Christian Smith, Pig & Dan, Pan-Pot, Dave Clarke in 2012!

Word is Fitzpatrick was awesome, Capriati couldn't even hook up his gear and had to get Berghain staff to do it for him and Paul Ritch was ripping Berghain apart. Right at the end of Ritch's set, Beyer got into bitch mode and practically threw Ritch out of the booth. Beyer bored everyone to tears and just had this overall asshole attitude that put everyone off and nobody even cared when he finished his set. Then Len Faki saved Berghain and got everyone dancing up a storm and even at the end of his set the lights @ Berghain went on and everyone lost their shit, pissing off Beyer even more. In the meantime, Joel Mull was KILLING Panoramabar. Then Ida played the most horrible electro. Downstairs @ Berghain, Capriati and Beyer got in the booth all coked up chewing their faces off to do a b2b set where they both played the same music they played in their earlier sets Capriati was mixing in his records off beat pissing Beyer off.... What a fucking embarrassment. Finally, Joel Mull closed Berghain in style. If I was Beyer, I wouldn't let those recordings see the light of day either He was upstaged and it showed that it pissed him off. |

You're not alone, Paco bores the shit out of me. Only time I liked him was way back in Minitek when he was nowhere near as popular.
That whole Droid Behavior camp rocks.. Cell Injection in NYC in December!

Minitek was a fail on so many levels, but one thing they did get right was having good music for the whole weekend.
BTW, if anyone is looking for something to do, Sully is having K1W1's birthday party/benefit tonight.
For those of you that don't know him, he's a dj who has been part of the NY house and techno scene for many years. He got into a horrible car accident earlier this year and lost an arm. His medical bills are piling up and our dear friend still needs a prosthesis and lots of physical therapy. He's a truly inspiring person who made his way back to the decks in only a few months and is rocking harder than ever. Please come by Sully to help him celebrate his birthday and show some support making a difference in our friend's life. I'll be there on the early part of the night, hope to see some of you there!

| Dear Friends, There is a special evening about to happen and your presence is requested!! Its more then just a party, it is a night that will be life changing and mean the world to a very special person. Grant Riddell (aka) DJ K1W1 will be celebrating the birthday he has been waiting for... 11-11-11!!! Not only is it a very special date, it is a very special year. As many of you know, this past spring, K1W1 was involved in a tragic car accident that left him with many broken bones and an amputated left arm that the doctors were not able to reattach. It has been a tough a year no doubt. There has been a lot of pain, there have been a lot of hard times. But that did not stop our dear friend at all! Over the past 8 months he has made an amazing recovery and is back on the decks doing what he does best and following his dream. The native New Zealander, K1W1, has spent the last 12 years devoting his love and talent to the NY underground dance music industry. He is truly one of kind and when K1W1 is on the decks, there is never a dull moment. His music is soulful, alive and full of surprises! Always aims to please, and a crowd pleaser he is! Although this year has brought its trials and turbulations, "challenge is what makes life interesting, overcoming those challenges is what makes life meaningful." He is overcoming his challenges and is a true model of determination and survival. But surviving without an arm is tough. He is in need of a prosthesis. Thanks to the beautiful support of Sullivan Room, all collections at the door on the evening of 11-11-11 will be going directly towards financial expenses for a prosthetic arm for our dear K1W1! It will be the most meaningful birthday present he could ever hope for. So friends, please come to celebrate, support, laugh, rejoice, but most of all, hear the music... and DANCE! Sullivan Room 11-11-11 Thank you for your love and support. "Life is a wave, your attitude is your surfboard, stay stoked and aim for the light!" See you there ![]() |

His set reminded me of how he played in Minitek, people were going nuts. Going to see him in DC on Thursday
I know its early in the week but anyone messing with this Stacey Pullen party this Saturday- I rarely buy advance tickets but think I may have to for this one.
Great party to ease back into the nightlife since its been a while, all leading up to the CLR Night.
