Come Out And Celebrate Eccentric Beats' Two Year Website Anniversary Party @ The Quest On May 6th!

Featuring:
Aaron Mossey (Eccentric Beats, Interference Productions, System Soundbar - Toronto)
Long smooth mixes, fantastic programming, and a stage presence that is second to none are all reasons why Aaron Mossey is one of Toronto's finest DJ's. His jaw dropping performance in the Quest's Ascot Room last year is still talked about to this day. When he's not rockin the airwaves with his show, Beat Science (every Tuesday from 8 - 10 pm EST on eccentricbeats.com), he's busy working the dancefloors of Toronto, Ontario at clubs such as The Guvernment, System Soundbar and has done guest spots at many others through out the Province and in the US.
Standout performances include his 5 hour set in January alongside breaks icon Freq Nasty and the beautiful K-Swing at System Soundbar, as well as his performance at the annual Labour of Love party last September that drew close to 20,000 people and had a lineup which included Deep Dish, Dave Clarke, Sander Kleinenberg, Andy C and Ferry Corsten. His set went so well that night he was asked to do another 2 hour encore and still had people begging for more after playing every last track in his bag.
If you caught his first Quest appearence you know this is not to be missed and if not, come find out for yourself why Mossey is a prime example of aural satisfaction...

Jevne
One of the Twin Cities finest DJ's, Jevne is a treat to listen to each time he's on the decks. Owner of Onethirty Recordings, a label specializing in tribal, tech-house, and progressive grooves, Jevne has also released tracks on Aphrodisio, with Tony Thomas & Dizzy each remixing his tracks. A member of the prestigous Balance Promote Record Pool, as well as hosting a monthly radio show on Eccentric Beats, Jevne has become one of the most in-demand local DJ's around!

Moksha
Moksha aka Jimmy Hipthrust has been bangin beats all over Minneapolis during the past two years. Those who saw him tag-team with Habersham at the late night afterpary this past February know that this man can hold his own. Will it be minimal? Breaks? Tech-House? Prog? One never knows what the Hipthrust has planned, but one thing is certain he's bound to make you move!

Adam Krause
1/3 of the now defunct Frequency Collective, Adam Krause makes his long awaited return! Those who recall his superb set back in June '03 @ The Quest know that this man can truly rock the decks. Now after some much needed time away from the DJ Scene, Krause is back and better than ever! In typical Eccentric Beats fashion, expect this man to rock the main room with a diverse selection of house and breakbeats. Come early as this man will set the energy and vibe of the night!

Since its inception in spring 2003, Eccentric Beats radio has been causing a buzz in the dance music industry becoming one of the fastest growing progressive house based Internet radio networks. It all started out with Phil Martinez’s vision of exposing progressive house music in the local Minneapolis scene, where he felt it wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. His first attempt to start Eccentric Beats to promote the local and Midwest progressive house talent received a dismal response. When Phil broadened his search, DJ’s from all over the world responded and there the seeds of Eccentric Beats radio were planted.
Emphasizing on quality, no-nonsense shows, Eccentric Beats strives to be the trendsetter while others follow suit. We provide a variety of 50+ shows, hosted by resident DJ’s, Producers and Label Owners who are either established in their own right or are rising up-and-comers. With Ariel Cybana taking on the A & R role, she’s involved in seeking out talent and has made a significant impact in the progress of Eccentric Beats. Listeners from all over the world, including locations such as Malaysia, South Africa, and Australia all have tuned in to hear the aurally satisfying sound that is Eccentric Beats!

Ok, here's a question... I definitely want to get a record signed by FC, but I don't want to have to hang onto it all night... where are you gonna put your record for most of the night where it won't get nabbed? Also... I'm getting waaaaaaay too psyched for this show. It's gonna f-in' rock.
Maybe have a bartender watch it, or one of the DJ's

Aristronica when I meet you next Friday I'll attempt to introduce you to JT if he's not super busy that night... Perhaps it'll be easier to propose your idea to him face to face.... Or at least make him more aware of your goal...
Also from what I hear the DC Productions Blueshift show is filling up real quickly, so you may want to contact them asap to see if there are spots left for a DIY tent....
Next friday should be a great night of fun

Where's our TRANCE?!
Ok, Ferry Corsten was amazing, Eddie Halliwell was pretty sick too, but what good trance events are happening between now and Blueshift 2? It just seems like there are so many house and D&B parties, and so little with trance. And while I'm in a complaining mood, where are the good raves? I realize it's just the beginning of May, but I'm getting impatient!
