i love Black Swan. probably one of the few times i saw almost 1000 people stand up and cheer for just a movie.
got a chance to watch 'Rabbit Hole'.
it's an all right movie. I guess i'm not feeling too much comfort towards the movie because i don't have a kid, and i'm not female.
Speaking of climaxes in a movie, watched a movie today that if i didnt know that it was an actual real movie i could have mistaken for fetish porn. Porn without much sex in it but still. Though i guess i could have known that the movie would be weird in some way or another since it was JAPANESE!

Her transformation was excellent, and the scene where she called her mom from a bathroom stall stood out to me, but I was pretty disappointed with the rest of it tbh. I thought the "twist" had been done before in other movies and didn't really deliver the way Aranofsky can. Most of my friends loved it tho.

Originally posted by Miss Pie Yeah subtitles. Fuck dubbing, I hate that shit. Always ruins a movie. I know Swedish people IRL, so I don't find the language that strange really. |
Sorry, did I say I didn't think the language sounded strange? Cause I meant to say that all Swedish people sound like they're developmentally delayed. Fuckin' assholes.
*unzips pants*
I was reading on imdb, and all found it interesting reading about what people thought about the culture, language, etc.
True Grit was really funny, and it had old fashioned shoot outs and snakes and shit.
Good movie.
Black Swan,
loved it, brilliant acting going on there
Big Trouble in Little China
Jack Burton just wants his truck back....
i guess you guys know what i do when i don't plan a vacation during the holidays, and have a couple of days off of work.
'Greenberg'
solid comedy with ben stiller, greta gerwig, and Rhys Ifans. if you want to watch a nice quirky comedy film, this is the film for you. if you feel dark comedies are too drawn out, and cliche, then this isn't for you.
Yeah I wanted to see that. Will get around to it eventually.
watched King Of Kong A Fistful Of Quarters the other night. Really went in to it expecting 0, but actually enjoyed it quite a bit.
^ Yep, liked that one. I keep meaning to drive over to Funspot in NH (where much of it was filmed) to binge on old arcade classics.
i'm not into anything the movie is about, but it is put together in a way that sort of captivates your attention and makes you get that rocky balboa glass tiger moment in the stomach when he gets shafted.
Watched 'Tremors' a minute ago for the first time, and I'm 35. Enjoyed it a lot, pure escapism.
But you've all seen it, so you already know.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
I had been meaning to watch this movie for quite some time and at last, I got around to it after smoking a bit of grass. It was quite the trip despite only being high. I can't imagine the spectacle it would become after dropping acid or something else of equal strength.
