I'm not appreciating the fact that both these parties (marco carola & maceo plex/audiofly/maya jane cole) fall ON the day I leave to Detroit

I just hope audiofly makes it to Detroit that weekend, than it'll be all gravy.

8pm-4am, who fucking planned this party...? I love the lineup, but seriously, $40+ for a party that you'd have to leave the festival early to get even half of the party?

that line-up is sick but the scheduling is fucking retarded...the price would of been reasonable if it began sometime after 11ish but who starts it 4 hrs prior to the last day of the festival ending?

That Liaison showcase is retarded. Half of the names on that lineup are playing the festival as well and the most ridiculous part is that they're charging as much as the festival will at the gate for one day. What is the point of going to something like this? I don't get it.

Booking agencies do whatever the fuck they want, I'm not surprised with the bitch move of having it during the festival's last hours. Last year there was a pool party going on @ the MGM pool during the same hours (did anyone go to that?). I don't know, what I'm seeing in Detroit is that it's becoming less about celebrating Detroit's music and its artists and more about the money.

What's the deal with the 'official' afterparties? Nothing's been announced yet and it's mid-april already.
