The made for TV version of 12 Angry Men is on TV right now. I love that movie, talk about an all-star cast.

Jack Lemmon
James Gandolfini
Wiliiam Petersen
Armin Mueller Stahl
Edward James Olmos...

I saw it the other day & liked it. It was cool to see if in a theater with a bunch of kids too, they get all into it. Didn't use the 3D as much as I had hoped, but overall I really enjoyed it.

its willarious.

You represent the idiocy of today. Yeah. You are part of a league of morons. You see, you're one of the morons I've been fighting my whole life. My whole fucking life. But guess what... Today, I win.

Yeah, that movie is funny. That was Brad Pitt's best performance of 2008 imo.

Pitt seems to do best with weird or eccentric characters. Twelve Monkeys, Fight Club, and Burn After Reading are his best performances, I think.

Meet Joe Black > *

Also fairly eccentric though.

the last movie that really struck a chord with me was Slumdog. wanted to see what all the hype was about and it delivered

i prefer subtitles to voice-overs. more often than not, i'll watch the subtitled version then re-watch it in the native language for the reasons you mentioned.

"The Hangover" is good, go watch it.

Yes, heaven forbid that people watch films in languages other than their native one, or even -- *gasp* *sputter* -- try to *learn* a new language and then watch movies in it! Only snooty self-styled "intellectuals" would do something like that.

Soeder: Cannes is less underground than dubfire..It's the biggest festival that manage to look outside hollywood. If you're really into music, i don't understand how you can be so ignorant to other styles of art and cultural expressions.

And who are you, all that is art and culture? Talk about missing the point. Ok then, substitute the Cannes Film Festival with the Maremetraggio in Trieste, Italy if it makes you happy.

nah... I guess not.

It was either that or a facepalm. lol. I broke out the eyeroll because I was talking about pseudo/wannabe intellectuals, or those who are impressed with themselves and feel the need to passively let people know about it... not actual intellectuals. Modesty is important.

You're both fags of different extremes.

Stfu.

Ok, so I hope the Renzo has received his fill. May I inquire to rated R comedies? I saw Superbad on DVD and have fallen in love with high school boys. Anything similar with the adventure of high schoolers?

I'm whatever. Point is you probably listen to tunes most people never heard off, but i assume it's because of an interrest in music..not becuase you're a wannabe intellectual.

Saw 'Match Point' with Scarlett Johansson last night. It's a Woody Allen film, although it's not a comedy. I enjoyed it. Good stuff.
