No. Poor guy probably has a bit of a hangover today

That was a good mix though.

Yeah, it's always nice when ClubAmerica drops in to fail.

hahaha who the fuck is that?

I'm actually spinning a sick mix right now in my bedroom. You can't hear it, but trust me, it's sick.

Some retard, lol. He drops by every once in a while and everyone mocks him.

Didn't know you DJ'd. What sort of music do you spin?

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-20-2011 02:58:

Big clob music of course. Mostly stuff I'd get made fun of on here for spinning lol. Somewhat of an aged cheddar. Although I must say I've been broadening my horizons quite a bit lately. I've been trying to download as much older stuff as possible. It's kind of hard knowing where to start because I've really only been seriously listening to electronic music for the last 6 years or so.

(That was mocking that kid though, I'm not really playing right now lol)

So, trance then?

Eh, heaps of people here listen to trance, myself included. Lews' mix yesterday had tons of trance in it. Lots of older stuff, which I love (I'm not so into the newer trance stuff).

Edit: Oh

Mostly that and a bit of techno mixed in. I just downloaded a whole load of Richie Hawtin stuff that I've been listening to a ton recently.

I always love fitting this one in

Do you get into the old prog stuff, like what's on a bunch of the older Global Undergrounds, etc?

Yeah after listening to Lews play the last time before he was shitfaced I downloaded all of the Global Undergrounds. Slowly working my way through those. I really dig that stuff a lot. That Krystal-Burning Flame track is awesome.

Nice. The older GU's were fucking stunning, IMO. My fav is Sasha in San Francisco (CD 2). The man used to be immense.

What number is that? I've been listening to 13, but a lot of them only have the numbers, and the file I have says 13 is Sasha in Ibiza.

Yeah, 013 is Sasha in Ibiza (also wicked). 009 is Sasha in San Francisco.

Dave Seaman in Cape Town (016), and Nick Warren in Brazil (008) are also worth mentions. And obviously Diggers.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jun-20-2011 03:16:

Yeah I've always liked both he and Digweed a lot. I'm actually seeing Digweed for the first time at Electric Zoo in NYC at the end of August.

You should go. I hear there's birds or something in NYC. (Just ignore all the headliners).

Yeah, I know about the festival (I read the regional forums quite a bit when I'm bored )

Don't think I'll be making it. Will is going though. He went last year too.

Actually not too bad, considering both the variety and the amount of alcohol I put in my body last night

My favorites are all three of Diggers, both of Sashas, 16 from Seaman, 7 from Oakenfold, and 21 from Deep Dish.

Btw I posted the tracklisting of last night's mix in that thread
