I really enjoyed The Town.

Watched A Single Man last night. Not having read the book and after watching the trailer, I was convinced the film would be a suspense/thriller, of sorts. And, of course, it was not. At least not in the traditional sense.

But anyway, it is a solid film and Colin Firth was terrific. Not a bad directorial debut by Tom Ford, either. I was impressed.

Nice try there, Justin.

Bye now.

This is an injustice.

My mother was right. Bots are assholes.

We watched Let the Right One In (the original one) last night and it was SO GOOD.

Posted by Lebezniatnikov on Dec-14-2010 15:55:

The new Yogi Bear movie is quite good, actually. The ending is so sad!

Here it is for those that don't want to watch the whole movie (spoiler):

Definitely do NOT ever watch Less Than Zero. Or do, if terrible films are your thing. Soundtrack is good though.

Nude Nuns with Big Guns

Best movie ever!

I think Jenny would love it. There's a lot of rape.

Posted by ivofivo on Dec-25-2010 18:26:

Watched "The Fighter" last night, movie of the year. Christian Bale killed it.

Posted by Meat187 on Dec-25-2010 21:48:

Sort of an anti-recommendation: Devil is really, really lame and cheap.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Dec-26-2010 16:21:

what i like about the holidays is not about the tinsel, happy fever, and togetherness .... it's time for me to catch up on movies i missed this past year (2010).

Please Give

Catched Woody Allen's Hannah And Her Sisters on the telly tonight. Pretty damn good. I really need to watch some more of Woody Allen's films.

Im a big fan of his, but his recent stuff is really hit and miss... Mostly miss-

Watch interiors, not at all a comedy, but a completely brilliant film.. Sleeper ftw for comedy tho

I generally don't think of myself as a fan, but Match Point stood out for me.

+1

Was it dubbed or subtitles?

I'm always curious what people think of the Swedish language, what it sounds like.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-27-2010 18:28:

Yeah subtitles. Fuck dubbing, I hate that shit. Always ruins a movie. I know Swedish people IRL, so I don't find the language that strange really.

But uh, just watched Black Swan and holy shit it was epic. What a climax.

Posted by Meat187 on Dec-27-2010 18:29:

lol climax

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-27-2010 18:42:

A few climaxes in the movie, actually. IFYOUKNOWWHATIMEANLOLOLOLOL.
