I'm sure this has been mentioned but I didn't see it anywhere but this is a top film BARAKA
This is part 1 on youtube...you can watch the whole documentary in 10 minute scenes from the same youtuber. around an hour to a hour and a 1/2
Planet 11 is a decent documentary also
Just watched The Fall again. Such a gorgeous movie without relying on CGI.

Originally posted by LeopoldStotch so we were talking about 'A Serious Man' a couple of days ago, and figured i should watch 'The Man Who Wasn't There', since I haven't seen the film unfortunately (another Coen brothers film). The Man Who Wasn't There holy shit. what a movie. i recommend this film to everyone. moved up to my list as one of my favorite Coen brothers movies. |

Originally posted by LeopoldStotch Watched the movie "Män som hatar kvinnor (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)" don't worry English speaking friends. The movie is dubbed in English for those who don't speak Swedish. the movie is based on the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson. Unfortunately, I have not read the books, but by judging from the film, pretty good content if you ask me. Although the movie is a grueling marathon(2 1/2 hours) with a slow buildup, I say it paid off at the end. Also interested in this movie, because all 3 books have been released to movies last year. wow pretty quick. // edit goddamn Hollywood and their grubby hands. An American version of this movie will be released in 2012. |

Originally posted by idoru I was terribly let down by A Serious Man, just because of the way it ended. I was looking for a good flick to watch tonight, I'll check this one out. |

Originally posted by idoru Loved it. Perhaps the best acting I've seen from Billy Bob. Great, great flick. |

win movie.
Is "Defendor" worth watching?
Oh man, just watched this again the other day after years and years. So enjoyable:
1. We live in Public - Documentary on the most famous and before his time dom.com kid during the dot.com era before broadband mid 90's to around 2000,then things get chaotic...a good watch
2. The Stoned Age - more of a lower budget movie with a slower story line than Dazed and Confused but I personally think it's better since it wasn't saturated with goofy stoner laughs
Bf and I watched Trick or Treat last night. Wizard wasn't kidding...by far the best Halloween movie ever. So good! Gonna buy it on Blu-Ray and play it every Halloween.
I wish it was still Halloween. :/
You thought Dazed & Confused was saturated with goofy stoner laughs? :/
Every day is Halloween for you, jennypie. do ho hooo
You're not even trying anymore.
I like to kick it elementary style sometimes.
/not igk humour
