those were my thoughts exactly after listening to it after the first time. i guess i just liked how it worked with the craig david track in past sets i had played. but totally agree, i actualy wish i had stuck with the original sound i started with instead of trying to get 'versatile'.

thanks for the feedback jon - if it werent for guys like you, ray, kev.... i would still be trying to hold mixes for five minutes straight with both bass channels cranked. lol.

I just got this link from my friend Andrew. Him and my friend Derek spin together as DNA. They both have accounts on TA but are "too cool" to post this themselves. This is their latest mix. Unfortunatly they didn't provide me with a tracklist.

Joe will gladly spin some nasty beats at extremely reasonable rates. His style is very Lawler-esque, in the sense that his roots are dark and dirty, but he also loves electro-infused house and the funky, sexy side of the bleep minimal game.

A somewhat random mix... Was going for a deephouse set but ended up a mash up of various styles at the end.

im going to feature joe again in the next few weeks.. the response has already been overwhelming since the show aired on wed. Lots of positive emails.

I downloaded a set of Joe Drust a while ago and its in my regular rotation for driving CDs. Solid mixing and wicked track selection. Would like to see him in Ottawa or Montreal.

I think Joe is fantastic.. and with each mix I hear I like him more and more. He loves the music.. just like all of us. His blending and mixing.. is superb.. and the sound gets me moving - even at my desk at work..
