After watching Drive I have become a little bit obsessed with this track.

Apparently it was written about that pilot who landed the plane on the Hudson River.

Now I don't want to sound like a queer or nothin' [Orgazmo] but you are the only person off TA that I would like to meet in real life.

PM me if you ever end up in England.....

It's not as drastic as Requiem, but it is heart-wrenching. I'd say the only thing the two movies have in common is that they're both about addiction and you watch the characters descend deeper into it. The tone of each movie is completely different, though, and there's also hope at the end of Shame. Requiem just left me a bit depressed.

I think you should see it, it's quite beautiful. Prepare for some long shots, though, I know you don't like them much.

I hum it as:

"A real fucking zero
and a piece of shit"

(usually thinking of some characters here)

That's a pretty funny plot actually, haha. Plus with an all-star cast... and Clooney with a stash? Hahahaha yes.

Watched Underworld Awakening, do not recommend it, very cheesy lines and stupid shit like guns running out of ammo then 1 second later amazingly there full again.

Um, ok still a movie I'd recommend.

Can anybody id a movie for me? Its Argentine and its kind of a horror film. Reminds me of Rec and 28 days later. But set in Argentina? Anybody?

Just watched goon.

Best hockey movie since slapshot.

the part when he stops the puck with his face almost killed me it was so horribly hilarious.

If you want to see Victor Hugo's Les Misérables on screen, among all the adaptations Raymond Bernard's version from 1934 is the one to watch.

Anyone else with me when I say the Syfy channel needs to stop making movies immidiately?

I highly recommend Syfy channels Mysterious Island when you are just about ready to shoot yourself.

Bullshit aside,

Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson was one of the greatest biography/documentaries I have ever seen. It has led me to purchasing 4 of his books in a week.

i enjoyed it, it was more or less exactly what i expected it to be but with more action.

did anyone watch "the iron lady?" i heard so many bad things about it so i don't understand how streep could have won an award for that film.

I just watched Machine Gun Preacher, I thought it was really good!

Big fan of Gerard Butler.

I watched 'spring, summer, fall, winter...and spring' again the other day. I took much more away from it. What a beautiful film. I had done ecstasy the night before so I cried frequently. I needed that. The girl loved it as well.

Anyone heard of this?

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Feb-29-2012 06:00:

Bully

This documentary has been making it's rounds in festivals the past couple of months and got some buzz in the news today because the MPAA wanted to rate this film NC-17 due to the amount of profanity. It's scheduled to be released sometime next month, most likely March 30. Unfortunately I missed the film when it made it's stop here but I heard good things about this film.

Academy enjoys bad films and likes to give awards to actors playing historical figures. This isn't new.
