Tune of the day
Thought we might start a Tune of the day thread, where you can post your favorite track you came across throughout the day. Could be old or new, doesn't matter. I thought this might also be a good way to share musical tastes, without the need to make a separate thread for every track one likes.
Feel free to affix a genre, a thought, or a review if you like.
Techno (94):
Re: Tune of the Day...
hope rlz.
about the caustic 14 track, brutal clap. Idk why, this track remember me of thomas p heckmann but without the acid shit... great track.
I remember when Extrawelt used to churn out monsters like this one.
Dutch track which had more success in the U.K. then here:
If we keep it to 1 track per person this thread won't take ages to load.
Came across this 93' Progressive tune, which Speedy J was surprisingly a part of:
classic oldschool trance..
Martin Garrix - Animals

This whole ep is great.
My favorite EP atm.
This guy typically makes tekno, but this ambient/industrial piece is quite good. Reminds me of some early Re-load Ambient and Ambre type stuff.

No.
this track is a few months old but since we're talking about Harvey McKay...
that one sure doesn't sound the same
It sure does have his trademark darkness though
all his shit doesn't sound the same. two of those tracks are from the same EP, so...
like any producer, he has bouts where he uses the same elements before recycling for a refresh and takes a different approach.
here's my favourite track from him, love the name too.
OK, let me rephrase, he uses the same elements over and over and over.
Just listen to the track you posted (First Strike From Mars) and Silk Road.
I'm not saying I dislike them; I'm just saying he uses a lot of the same elements in a lot of his stuff. And it's very noticeable.
