You are comparing chocolates to cakes?

That's like hats to shoes.

he totally disgraced the sanctity of the cake ....

Posted by tatgirl on Feb-18-2005 17:41:

No, I wasn't offended, tho I knew it would 'sound' like that.
Ah, the joys of posting on the internet...

Plus, when I saw the guys site, I saw nothing spectacular on there to compare it to. But if u say he makes these great chocolate creations, I believe you. He should have some pics on his site, though.

Apparently, some of those cakes take several days to make.

Re: Confetti Cakes
There's even some more cake designs in the 'applause' section, tho only small thumbnails are visible.

i don't know how many of you have eaten a cake like one of these, but they are really good hehehe. the frosting is soooo thick though hehehe

That would be the rolled fondant. You can lift it up like a sheet. I've never tried a cake like this, tho I'd love to.

Who's buying??

Posted by UWM on Feb-18-2005 18:01:

I'm not big on cake myself. Thick frosting only makes it worse.

Posted by Massive84 on Feb-18-2005 18:19:

why make art of things that people eat.

Then, there's the Surreal Gourmet's "Meatloaf Surprize"...

Who said you can't have 'cake' for dinner?
