Pacha NYC 4 Year Anniversary with ERICK MORILLO & STEVE ANGELLO - Saturday, Dec. 12

Happy birthday to US! Pacha NYC proudly presents our 4 Year Anniversary party on Saturday, December 12th, 2009. This year we'll be celebrating the momentous occasion with our original 2005 opening weekend lineup, resident DJ ERICK MORILLO along with very special guest, Mr. Swedish House Mafia himself, STEVE ANGELLO. Let’s hear it for 4 more years! 4 more years!

Over the last 4 years, Pacha NYC has received many accolades including: International Dance Music Awards – Best U.S. Club and Club World Awards – Best Superclub 2009, 2008 & 2007, but the biggest commendation is the thousands of clubbers each weekend who congregate on the dancefloor in search of the perfect beat. In the last year, the launch of Pacha NYC Podcasts and Pacha NYC TV kept us connected with our DJs and our fans and we were pleased to announce new DJ residencies for Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, and Benny Benassi, all joining our well-respected roster of residents Erick Morillo, Victor Calderone, Jonathan Peters and Boris. Now more than ever, Pacha NYC is poised to enter the next decade with the world’s most sought-after DJs and continued decadence in nightlife for the dance music loving masses.

Pacha NYC will also be holding their annual Toys For Tots drive. Guests who donate an unwrapped toy will receive FREE ADMISSION BEFORE 12 MIDNIGHT! The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Any and all toy donations are appreciated.

The average Gothamite might not know the name Rob Fernandez, but every clubber, club owner, DJ, performer, and promoter does. Fernandez has been one of the primary movers in the Big Apple’s nightlife scene since the ‘80s, creating and producing some of the city’s definitive events and longest-running weekly parties. In the process, he’s helped launch DJs like Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo into international super-stardom.

The savvy promoter’s parties range from barebones and music-centered (Be Yourself Fridays with Danny Tenaglia, 1999-2004) to kitschy, crazy and over-the top (Asseteria Sundays, 2001-present). Anything’s possible at a Rob party: go-go girls riding mechanical bulls, six-foot drag divas dressed up as leprechauns, celebs rubbing shoulders with club kids. His collaboration with DJ Erick Morillo on the Subliminal Sessions event (1997-present) – which morphed from a sexy Thursday night soiree into Sunday morning after-hours bedlam – helped establish the DJ as NYC party powerhouse.

Fernandez isn’t always behind the scenes: Local and national media outlets have recognized his creativity with coverage and awards. He was dubbed a “New Yorker to Watch” and “New Yorker of the Year” by Time Out New York and New York Magazine respectively; and took home “Best Party” honors from the Dancestar Awards (two consecutive years for Be Yourself) and the Club World Awards (three consecutive for Asseteria) - both international contests. Dance.Here.Now, his Thursday and Tuesday night who’s-who in dance music with fellow promoter Benny Soto (718 sessions) was recently nominated for “Best Party” 2008 and has even allowed room to expand to Saturdays with the all new Dance.Here.Too at Santo's Party Haus.

Fernandez is currently the promotional director at Pacha New York, injecting the Ibizan brand with the type of New York attitude only he can provide. He himself has had every conceivable nightclub job, “from bar back on up,” and served as doorman at the legendary Sound Factory Bar for five years, before turning to promotions.

Come join us and celebrate a NYC party legend in the making...

Dance. Here.Too
SATURDAY NIGHT IS BACK!
FROM THE CREATORS OF DANCE.HERE.NOW., GET READY FOR DANCE.HERE.TOO.!

New York, N.Y. – Saturday: Amateur night, right? Immortalized in John Travolta movies and Misfits songs, it’s when everybody suits up and goes out. And you know what that means: Bad crowds, please-‘em-all music, and no space to dance.

Well the guys who brought Thursdays back are ready to perform Saturdays the same service. Rob Fernandez & Benny Soto, the promoters behind award-winning shindig Dance.Here.Now., are proud to present Dance.Here.Too.: A new concept in weekend fun that adapts the music-first DHN vibe to a party after which you don’t have to wake up for work.

“We realized that Saturday had fallen off the menu for a lot of people, and that’s just a waste of a night off,” says Rob.

“We wanted to create an alternative to the big, impersonal club experience that is more of a coming together of people that love music in a big way. We're taking back Saturday nights.,” says Benny.

Set at Santos Party House – one of the city’s best dance-friendly venues with a custom sound system that defies ear fatigue – DHT will bring the focus back to you, your friends and the music. No nonsense, no door drama, no fuss.

With a wide-open music policy, featured DJs will run the gamut from house (American and European), to electro, to uncategorizable. Already booked: Nervous Records artist/house legend Oscar G; the European
“DJ’s DJ,” Danny Howells; and superstar-of-the-moment Laidback Luke. (Full list of dates below.)

So next time you’re actually considering putting on your PJs and watching “Saturday Night Live,” set the DVR, get up, and get out to Santos and Dance.Here.Too.

Upcoming Events:
Saturday December 19 - Behrouz
Saturday December 26 -_ Cosmic Twins aka Derrick May & François K.
