I saw Law Abiding Citizen yesterday... really enjoyed it. Good to see Gerard Butler back in action as a good guy practicing his own brand of ruthless cold-hearted vengence.

Just got dragged to see 500 Days of Summer, and was pleasantly surprised.. it's like a guy version of a chick flick. Moral(s) of the story being - don't date bitches who never got over their parents' divorce; and don't fall in love with every chick you bang.
Saw Whatever Works yesterday and liked that too... Woody Allen movies are always overly theatrical and contrived and corny but somehow he gets away with it

The Road
The Vicious Kind
Ok, so I managed to catch three flicks this weekend. Two Lovers was very good. There's something very real about this film and Joaquin Phoenix is always creepy - in a good way. Whatever Works was pretty funny. Blunt. And I really enjoyed Evan Rachel Wood's small-town girl performance. Besides, Larry David and Woody Allen are always welcome at my place.
And then there was The Ugly Truth. I would like those two hours of my life back. Please. Gerard Butler, you're better than that.
Finally saw Bruno. It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
