i'm down for that.

meanwhile, at this moment, I'm 2-4 (last) in one of our work leagues, despite having 30 more points than anyone else...wtf. 737, the person in 1st has 544. how does that even happen?

Zombieland is awesome. Very well done and a perfect example of how A list actors make a world of a difference in horror movies.

A-list actors? lolololol.

I saw Law Abiding Citizen yesterday... really enjoyed it. Good to see Gerard Butler back in action as a good guy practicing his own brand of ruthless cold-hearted vengence.

He's been in more bit parts lately than leading roles... but I don't mind that; he gives movies a little flavor that way. He didn't need to be in No Country For Old Men more than he was.... he had a really good small part in The Thin Red Line too. He just needs to do more shit like that and an occasional leading role like in Kingpin or Natural Born Killers and less of the garbage roles he's done like The Grand.

Edit: He was money in Transsiberian.

Just got dragged to see 500 Days of Summer, and was pleasantly surprised.. it's like a guy version of a chick flick. Moral(s) of the story being - don't date bitches who never got over their parents' divorce; and don't fall in love with every chick you bang.

Saw Whatever Works yesterday and liked that too... Woody Allen movies are always overly theatrical and contrived and corny but somehow he gets away with it

Ok, so I managed to catch three flicks this weekend. Two Lovers was very good. There's something very real about this film and Joaquin Phoenix is always creepy - in a good way. Whatever Works was pretty funny. Blunt. And I really enjoyed Evan Rachel Wood's small-town girl performance. Besides, Larry David and Woody Allen are always welcome at my place.

And then there was The Ugly Truth. I would like those two hours of my life back. Please. Gerard Butler, you're better than that.

Finally saw Bruno. It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
