FARK . . .

I had a blast from my past today . . .

DJ TIESTO - SUBURBAN TRAIN!! OMFG PTM!!

Can't believe I forgot about this track, absolute classy track! Love it!!

Attica - Cyber Girl (Mara Remix)
from John 00 Fleming live at Elevate 26/04/03...which I am currently downloading.
I find it to be a very smooth and sexy vocal track.

The track that starts off the set is damn nice as well. Itís a pity it hasnít been IDed yet, as far as I know. Lovely vocals...

Wyatt Earp & Jonas Temple Ft. Stacy Briscoe Ė Untitled
from Christopher Lobsinger- San Francisco Sessions 21/04/03
another smooth vocal track...hahah, as you can see I've had quite a thing for vocals lately

Lee Kavenagh feat. Lauren - E.L.L.E (Trisco Remix)
been loving that one recently as well...

and I'll never get enough of New Order- Bizarre Love Triangle, and True Faith..eheh. they're oldies, but goodies

YES that track is a fucking BOMB. So is the whole Dave Seaman @ Electrolux 2002, but that song in particular!

werd.
It has a distinctive 'trisco' sound to it, which i luuurve!

Yeah that set has quite a few awesome tunes in it- the original of Manilla Sunrise, Narcotic Thrust remix of The Sound of Violence, Tears from the Moon (Hybrid Remix), Nothing (Mix 2) etc
....

Posted by Sid on May-14-2003 13:38:

Mind One feat Rena - Star For Me (Instrumental mix) absolute monster, classic uplifting trance !

Posted by SQ-K on May-15-2003 10:06:

I know you've probably all heard this already (S_madis DEFINITELY has, cos I picked it up out of your sig), but

Mike Shiver ft. Hanna - Feelings (Instrumental Mix)

WHAT a tune!! Takes me back to when I heard Hydra - Affinity for the first time at GK02 courtesy of AvB. The first breakdown is simply magical.

Posted by Az on May-15-2003 10:31:

kate bush vs infusion - running up that hill
it's fucking amazing

Posted by webmeister on May-15-2003 10:38:

Very old (like 1998), but an amazing track that I've just discovered:

Travel - Bulgarian (Signum Mix)

Posted by Sid on May-16-2003 09:07:

Just grabbed so many tracks that you MUST listen to, here are the latest trance stormers. 2003 just became bigger and brighter than ever

Rapid eye - Stealing beauty (Ronald van gelderen mix)
System F - Spaceman (Original mix)
The gift - Love angel (Main mix)

I only thought that was so/so, inculding the remix...

but hey, it's still allright

recommended to me by jace and I can probably confirm that this is the vocal tune PvD dropped here in Sydney that I have been trying to id for the past 2 months

Kate bush vs infusion - Running up that hill (Original mix)

I would go as far as saying that this is my fav. tune of 03 so far ! OMG the most absolute perfect blend of progessive beats with the most syntilating vocals I have heard in a long time (well not so long actually Andain - Beautiful things has amazing vocals) ! a must for any lover of trance

Posted by matt_a on May-21-2003 12:29:

I agree

KATE BUSH vs INFUSION - RUNNING UP THAT HILL

OMG INFUSION DO IT AGAIN! ALL THEIR PRODUCTIONS AND REMIXES OWN!
Must be cause they're Aussie!

But others

Echomen - Perpetual (Retro Future Vocal Mix)
Shiloh - Will You Ever Come Around (Infusion vs Gwill Morris Remix)
Ils - No Soul (PMT Mix)
Sasha - Fundamental
DJ Rage - Waiting (Antoine Clamaran Mix)
Azzido Da Bass - Dooms Night (Timo Maas Remix). . .Best Remix Ever??
Gus Gus - David (Darren Emerson's Underwater Mix)

That is all

sorry to piss on your fire, but PvD hasn't been playing this, he's been playing the new goldenscan tune, which uses the same sample...

Posted by Sid on May-22-2003 01:33:

The vocal is just awesome, would you happen to know the name of the new Goldenscan track ?

Posted by Pointy on May-22-2003 08:09:

Yunus Guvenen - Tigris...this tune has no doubt flown over so many heads unheard. Its a stunning hypnotising prog. trancer. Check it, Yunus is quality

Love

Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors (Lexicon Avenue Rmx/ Junkie XL Vocal Rmx)!!!

Awesome, awesome male vocals in this one! junkie xl remix is almost uplifting in a sense..extremely addictive as well!
But the Lex Ave one is my favourite- has that sexy bassline that seems to be quite typical of Lex Ave.

Polaris - Inspect Her Gadget
I'm not sure how old this is, but I'm lovin' it nonetheless!
sooo much energy!

re: Kate Bush vs. Infusion - Running Up That Hill
This seems to be unanimously loved by all! hahah
I would have loved to have seen the expression on my face the first time those sublime vocals came in during that break'!

*sings* c'mon, baby, c'mon darling, let me steal this moment from you now...

Named by many as the best track of 2003 so far, i name it the tune which doesn't deserve all the hype it gets.

Posted by Slade on May-26-2003 08:58:

yeah I'm with Pointy, the track is definitely tough, but whats with the hype, not really different to any other progressive monster I've heard.

Posted by Sid on May-26-2003 12:58:

I know this is probably old news for most you guys who follow the prog scene closely but Joshua ryan - Pistolwhip (James holden mix) is unreal I mean what a tune ! I personally rate this ahead of Nothing, progressive trance at its best !

Posted by sash on May-26-2003 14:55:

some oldies i got today:

Accadia - Into The Dawn (James Holden Remix)
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (DJ TiŽsto Power Remix)
Chicane - Lost You Somewhere (Heliotropic Mix)
Nalin And Kane - Open Your Eyes (Club Mix)
Orion - Eternity (Darren Tate Remix)
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
