plus 1 on that..he definately needs to. Before watching this movie i didnt think Sandler could have that range but he pulled off an amazing performance. im prolly going to watch this again this weekend...

the court scene was wrenching

Which one do you think pays more though? He pokes fun at himself about this in Funny People, my favorite movie with him.

And Lindsay Lohan, and Don Johnson, and Robert De Niro. I'm so psyched for this movie

inception is the best movie of those i saw recently.

sure he won't get as much revenue, because his regular viewers would get thrown off by his dramatic roles, but hey at least he doesn't have to pay rob schneider and david spade for looking like idiots in his movies. schneider never does a dramatic movie and all his movies suck. sandler is basically writing schneider's paychecks. as for spade, same for him. sure he had that tv show 'just shoot me', but that's about it for him.

yeah i'm psyched about them 3, but mostly about steven f'n seagal. come on. the guy never gets hit in any of his movies. if it's going to be a 1 shot kill thing, i'm going to be pissed. he needs to take a couple of licks before he goes down.

Piranha 3D is the goriest movie I remember seeing. Pure tits and blood, and it does it so well. Might have to go again while it's still in the theater

rewatched an old classic

Rosemary's Baby

this movie was definitely ahead of it's time(1968). a great suspense thriller that is light years ahead of current movies in this category.

just finished watching Death Proof, Kurt Russell was fucking awesome in this movie!

quote:
Death Proof is a 2007 American thriller film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film centers on a psychopathic stunt man who stalks young women before murdering them in staged car accidents using his “death-proof” stunt car. The film is a tribute to muscle cars, exploitation, and slasher film genres of the 1970s.

my name is khan

despite the ungodly length (it's a bollywood film) i found it really entertaining. it's about an indian muslim with asperger's syndrom living in san francisco how 9/11 affected him/family and his quest to meet the president. it's very much a fairy tale but nevertheless good film.

Probably my favorite Tarantino movie. Saw it in the theater while very altered. Probably the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater.

*cue obvious joke*

Did not get great press reviews after being presented in Venezia, where Arofnosky actually won 2 years ago with The Wrestler.

I'm thinking of watching Rendition, is it worth it?

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Sep-05-2010 01:27:

watched brick on fri night. neo noir but set in a modern day highschool. i thought it was pretty clever and the dialogue was fun. it didn't have spaceships in it though so i can't speak for its overall quality, but definitely hooked me.

Saw Machete tonight. Fucking owns. Pure comedic levels of violence, sex, and overdone cliche 70's B movie shots.

I highly recommend THIS

My fav scene from the movie:

I was lmfao'ing
