OK so aNYthing didn't like Attack The Block. No big deal. I thought it was awesome and, apparently, so did most of you guys. His tastes are obviously a bit different. To each his own.
it's what i wanted to see. I am not going to disrespect him for giving out a thoughtful impression of how he felt what the movie is. Just don't say it's "shit" and give no explanation.
^yeah, that's understandable, but how often does one of us say 'xxxx was an amazing film' without giving any explanation why? it's only more painful here because he's hating on something most of us like.

Originally posted by Miss Pie See, my insult works because it's true. Your insult doesn't work because it's clear you struggled to come up with something clever or witty, and it just ended up being ridiculous (as in, embarrassing for you). You tried too hard and failed. As usual. |

It isn't that he has a different opinion, it's that he can't stand it that others don't agree with him and is going on about "WAH WAH I'M RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG!"
It's fucking annoying and stupid. Just like I said. People like him are soul sucking to be around.
I felt the same way about Tinker Tailor... I didn't like how the first 30 minutes were deliberately muddled. Because of that, it struck me as somewhat of a cinephile's version of Inception.
"Did you get it? Huh? Are you part of the in crowd or what??"
"Oh yeah. Of course I'm familiar with the original and the back story. Of course I got it."
I think that a good film should exist solely within itself. I didn't see Tinker Tailor as doing that effectively enough.

No the funny thing is that you're like in your 30s and try so hard to be funny on here when clearly nobody likes you, and you're probably the furthest thing from funny on this site.

Nah, I have to write a Haywire review and it got compared to Salt a lot so I wanted to see what's it like. It was worse than I thought and made the superiority of Soderbergh's film even more striking.

Just a warning; stay as far away from "ATM" as possible. And no I don't mean ass to mouth, though I'd probably prefer that over watching the 46 minutes I did watch of it again. It had me screaming at the screen.
