I want to know the name of that song too, he also played it at around 2 at Spirit.

I think SS was awesome, the rain in the beginning was annoying and cold, but once I got into it, it just made the whole show better

I loved PvD's set, lots of hard stuff, which I love, something I didn't expect for that show.

I think I heard Crush twice that night

Bahahaha, you got schooled hard!

That set was what I needed from pvd. He definitely moved up a couple slots in my book with that set.

some tracks i remember hearing in no particular order:
Mike Robbins - are you a freak (marcel woods techtrance mix)
ferry corsten - its time (kai tracid mix)
oceanlab - sattelite (alex oddens flipside vocal mix)
g&m project - sunday afternoon (nu-nrg mix)
cosmic gate - bilingual
pvd - crush (vandit club mix)
Nick Lunn & YOMC pres. Tecno Punx - Energize (Paul van Dyk Re-Edit)
pvd feat. heppner - wir sind wir (pvd club mix)
pvd vs marco v - for a revolt
katana - in silence (txitarro mix)
Kay D Smith & Marc Tall pres. Passive Resistance - Praiseworthy Tunes (Hoipolloi Mix)
things are all starting to mash together now but i think i remember hearing modulation - spirits (slusnik luna mix)

and yea ray that speeding ticket sucked

I heard so many songs that I knew but couldnt think of the titles, all I could think about was how much fun I was having and I was going with the moment.

SS was crazy...i felt like some kind of drowned hippie-

I agree with the set being very dark-there were some soft breaks here and there, but I felt it was droning for the first hour and a half.

amount of times PVD:

smiled: 3

winked: 1

smirked: 10

Me hide? on what planet?

I was with Rachel most of the time in CP trying to keep her warm.

I wore a baby blue shirt with some flowers on it... gray pants... and my pimpin sunglasses.

never met rachel, have no clue what she looks like...i was with the majority of TA's located in the front center. I was with Indy, Vtec, Brianna, Joey and his bro, Raversurge and his girl, Danax, Trunks, Miss Bliss, Frost, and many others....

Posted by Vlad on Jun-26-2004 21:56:

Rachel is the really hot blonde that Brian was occassionally hugging and stuff...

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Jun-26-2004 21:57:

yeah...my ankle is a lil sore...funny how i didnt feel it last nite...even at spirit it was fine...LOL!!!! mind over matter i guess

Posted by Haunted on Jun-26-2004 22:07:

damn it, im tryin to figureout what this one track that paul played, its really old like.. 2002 maybe, he played it at cp and spirit

ts mostly like bass line, but then the breakdown is really melodic

ughh, its so familiar

Posted by Ray7455 on Jun-26-2004 22:18:

After listening to Creamteam - Samurai today I think Paul played it yesterday, although I can't seem to remember for the life of me, the tracks are starting to mash together lol. Does anyone else remember if he played it or not? It's driving me crazy

i REALLY need an id for this track..it's the song right before f/x zone- synesthasia or two songs before that? i would soo appreciated it. it is hard in the beginning then gets really melodic in the middle??

is there piano in the melodic part?

Posted by ogvh5150 on Jun-26-2004 22:37:

I heard a track with a piano around 9:00 and he played it before at either the IDT or MOS/Bacardi sets.

yeah that was Cosmic Gate - Bilingual, it sounds like how he described the one he wanted ID'd, that's why I was asking

Your probably talking about Cosmic Gate - Bilingual....

It starts out moderately hard... than goes into a 3-4-3 key piano solo... builds up and blows up

ooooooo that song was amazing!!!!!!.... if its the one im thinking of.... the one im thinking of got really quiet and just a million little piano or synth notes made this AMAZING melody.... there was a buildup and then the kickdrum kicked in but the melody stopped and kinda.... stayed the same and didnt change..... idk if that helps ne1 remember which song im thinking about.... but some1 REEEEALLY has to come up with an ID... cos i was going nuts to that song.

not only did i go nuts! but i started to cry!!!

summerstage was awesome.... i was sure it was going to make me sick but not yet! pvd surprised me with so many banging unfamiliar tunes. i had a great time and he really pushed us hard trying to make our rain pains worthwhile... those of you that "enjoyed" the rain, i just cant agree with you.... the first couple hours were fine but by the end of this thing i thought i was gonna have pneuomnia.

pvd gave it his all though. notice his "thanks i couldn't be happier" comment on after the mc talked on the mic? that was cool, he definitely appreciated the love we showed him. his set at spirit was better, but thats just because summerstage didnt have such good flow.... however, i dont hold that as a bad thing. he was just trying to push a wet crowd to move and i think he did well.
