good call jezz, its retained just enough of the original corniness to make it worthwhile. i can imagine the 80's must be a goldmine for remix material.

*me waits for remix of bizarre love triangle*

I got a 3 minutes sample of his remix somewhere...and it's definetely him cause of his trademark bassline...

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-19-2003 03:11:

Also another song coming out in a few weeks

Celyion - Immortal (Alphazone Remix)

can't wait for this one..

luv this trak

also

Darren Tate - Prayer For A God
&
Afterburn - Winter Sun

Posted by Pointy on Oct-20-2003 23:43:

Underworld - Dark & Long (Danny Howells Mix)

Remixing such a classic would be fucken hard, but this is easily on par with the original. Smooth breaks over the stabbing melody n effects. FUCKING CHOON!!!

Posted by leet123 on Oct-21-2003 05:51:

Dont know how old it is, but I'm loving Andy Hunter - Go (Antillas Remix) atm.

I agree with ballistic, Prayer for a god is also a fucking awesome choon!

Posted by Slade on Oct-22-2003 01:37:

Love Poundin' Sensation

anything by Delta...

Posted by Zerotonin on Oct-22-2003 05:01:

Yeah I agree, Afterburn - Winter sun is a great driving trancer, don't know about Darren Tate - Prayer for a god, I find the vocal too high pitched.

Really enjoying Solar plexus - solar plexus - Sapphirecut remix atm...

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-22-2003 06:44:

Darren Tate - Prayer For A God is awesome, BUT i like the flip better "Orion - Elevation", has much more beauty to it...

Prayer For A God sounds too similar to "Fall From Grace", but you gotta love those indian chanting vocals...

Posted by Sid on Oct-22-2003 13:53:

Jon carter - Go down

the vocal bit in this is unreal ! "oh sinners lets go down, lets go down, come on down" its so catchy

Posted by JayKuE on Oct-23-2003 08:32:

Brass Monkey - Big Ride (Original Mix)
Van Bellen & Greed - Citylights (Matthew Dekay Remix)

dekay cant do any wrong.
awesome bassline, beautiful instrumental sequences and haunting vocal
emotional tune.

Posted by Ghostface on Oct-24-2003 07:11:

dunno how old this is:

NRC - Here Comes The Rain (Push Instrumental)
Is ok, different. Not really up to mike's usual standard though imo. The vocal on the vocal mix is really bad too.

Darren Tate - Prayer For A God
I normally like his work but this sounds too much like his jurgen vries stuff. I don't really like it. Like Psygnosis said, it sounds a bit too high.

Ian van Dahl - I Can't let You Go (Push Mix / Push Dub)
Absolute fucking tune. The vocal mix is better than the dub cause the dub only goes for 5:50 while the vocalised mix goes for over 7 and he only uses a small piece of the vocal, which I quite like anyway. Once this arrives from chemical its going straight into the record bag next to silverbath and isn't gonna come out for a long long long time. I'll prob end up buying another copy as well.

it was originally titled as Charger - Turtle Beach.

Posted by Beemer on Oct-26-2003 00:15:

Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes (Trifactor Blue Room Remix)

omg how much do i hate myself for actually liking this track?? i'm so ashamed

was havin a listen to some of the tons of sets i've gotten but not had a chance to listen to....couple of tunes that grabbed me which i hadn't noticed before are:

Porter & Blain - Surrounding Darkness (Original Mix)
Armande - Cascades (Locust Remix)

maybe something to do with the ferry corsten 9 hour set? I think the tracklist had stuff like live performances of gouryella, out of the blue, rock your body rock, punk with an orchestra!

disclaimer: Of course I could be totally and utterly wrong.

Posted by Psygnosis on Oct-26-2003 05:41:

Oh ok wicked!!

But what does that mean, a orchestra version of a song...a chillout mix??????

also a new song

St. John Vs. Locust - Mind Circles

Posted by matt_a on Oct-26-2003 07:46:

Dunno if it's that new, but from Danny Howell's 24/7

Honeyroot - Starshine

Definately one of the most emotional new tracks I've heard. Absolute masterpiece. It has what the new tracks have been lacking . . . feeling!
