Also a bit bummed that Awakenings Easter Edition sold out while I was on holiday, but no surprise that these events always sell out well in advance, would have been nice to hear old bangers though on that system.

BTW PivotTechno, how was NYC and Sims? I know a few people who also went.

So you and Paul are meeting me in London then?

This will be mental. Scan X played one of the best techno sets I've ever heard in my life in Lyon in 2008. It was only 1 hour long, but man what a beat down. I'd love to see this guy again.

Beyer fans... sweet directory of sets that some of you might fancy, a bunch of megaupload links in one spot.

Anita: slight chance I will make it 4 in a row this year but I am leaning towards the motogp race that day instead.
Nice to see Glenn Wilson on the lineup too!

Yeah my boyfriend just got our tix for the race so looks like that's where we will be that day instead.
Very nice lineup so far though! I also really like Advent & Industrialyzer, not buying as many records these days but I have picked up a bunch of their releases.
You'll have a blast, hopefully the weather is decent too.

If Cari (or Sims,or Rush or Advent...) end up playing the afterparty I will try to make it out!

indeed, I think it is probably the best Awakenings festival lineup they have had since I moved here, too bad I won't be going this time!

Anita - what a great cherry poppin dutch techno festival for you.

I'm tempted to buy a ticket for that 97-01 Awakenings night coming up, it is sold out but I came across some postings from people selling extras last night, not sure if I feel like going alone this time but leaning towards yes anyway.

Really starting to look forward to attending Time Warp for a second time. I'm loving the set times (other than my train to Berlin leaves at 3:30PM so I'll have to miss a bit of Ricardo, Loco, Marco). I'm hoping Plastikman lives up to the hype there will be 20,000 to 25,000 people in those two rooms watching him for that hour.

A ridiculous proper techno set from an anonymous producer on this week's RA Podcast

http://ra2.residentadvisor.net/audi...advisor.net.mp3

Very impressed by this. One of the best techno sets I've heard in a while.

Good thing because it has sold out already!
I know a lot of people going this year, makes me wish I could go to both this and the race that day, ah well. Maybe an afterparty (haven't seen any mentioned yet though)

speaking of Awakenings, I haven't seen any sets posted from last weekend, would be cool to hear some of the classix night ones especially, I still listen to the Billy Nasty one on occasion from the party last year.

Wow already eh. Didn't think they'd sell out so soon.
I hear the after party might be at Studio 80

yeah I was also a bit surprised, I know it always sells out, but I reckoned maybe by the end of April, seems earlier than usual anyway.
And yeah, Studio 80 is an ok space, but I am more interested in who would be playing, maybe Cari again, I should inquire.

Joey Beltram playing Start it Up last weekend...love that record!

yay! Looks like I will be celebrating my 30th bday in a few weeks in Berlin with some Montreal friends, just checking out the club lineups now - Liebing at Berghain is decent!
(too bad it's not the lineup from the weekend before with Cari, len faki and SLS though)
