House music has a wide range of characteristics that’s hard to pin down definitively. Early U.S. house and techno productions have been instrumental in the development of dance music, regardless of geography or sub-genres. Influenced by early house and techno from Chicago and Detroit, J-Cut & Jake P. share a passion for art, music and technology. They began brainstorming ideas about a new group that’s not only interested in the hottest new sounds but also to share inspirations and history with the audience.

After successful early performances and support from friends, Sonz of Jack secured a residency for Saturday Night Sessions @ Ecco Hollywood and has performed at many of Hollywood’s top clubs such as Avalon, Vanguard and The Standard Hotel. With a dance floor friendly sound that combines the best of house, techno and progressive house, Sonz of Jack has taken their show this year to Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the LovEvolution festival in the San Francisco Bay Area, with more shows coming soon.
