While Gareth may not be my 1st choice, in Miami we've been begging for more variety & trance for far too long to be so picky. As the saying goes, "beggers cannot be choosers."

Eventhough he plays some fluff, Gareth plays with alot of energy & adapts to the crowd & event. Case in point, at Anjuna WMC 2010 he played late to a crowd that was already in a frenzy, so he banged it out start to finish. This year he played @ Dream, started much earlier & played a longer set, so he built it up much more & did not just 'bang it out" for the entire 3 hours.

Bottom line, IMO if the right type of crowd shows up this could be a great night & lead to better things down the road ...

Dress to impress, pretty much...not necessarily collars, but no sneakers, nice jeans and t-shirt.

I have to agree with the previous posts. While Gareth is different (I still like it) if a massive group of people show up, Space will take notice and maybe get some more Trance folks to come down. So we really need to get this out there on twitter, facebook, etc. The more people we get, the better it is for us. No one is going to book acts that they feel will make them no money. I've already started using social media to push this show out there into the masses.

Dress code at Space? That is what makes Space, Space. There isn't a dress code, other than no shorts maybe. I've seen people wear flip flops, torn up jeans and tee shirts that look like they haven't been washed in weeks and worn daily and gotten in. Come as you are, Space is all about dancing, and taking every last waking dollar in your wallet.

My wife and I would go to sleep early on Saturday nights, and wake up at 5am and drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami, get to Space by 5:30am rested and get a VIP table on the terrace almost every Sunday am. It was like our church so to speak. We would drink until noon or so, then head to the beach to crash and recover.

Man I miss living down there...

Thanks Madd.The dress code was one of the main issues I had with clubs in Miami. They seemed to cater to the pretentious crowd that basically shows up way to dressed up to have fun at any of the events. I always want to go to Mansion, Set, LIV, or etc whenever they have a DJ I wanna see, but I don't want to spend most of the night standing in line to not get in and waste my night. Ultimately I don't like to dress like a jersery shore cast member, I want to come and have fun and dance.

space does have a dress code. its not "dress to impress" but i would say its "dont dress like a bum." some decent jeans, a nice tshirt, and clubbing sneakers and you're good to go. dont try flipflops, shorts, hats, jerseys, or shit like that. that kinda shit only flies during wmc/mmw when all they care about is getting people in.

Anyone know if ticket prices are gonna go up?
